so kathryn is desperately needing some new pants, she has one pair of jeans i'm not fond of, and that's it. i looked at target, all they have is a few leggins and a few sweatpants, but i'm looking for jeans or khaki's! so i got the idea from one of Jamie's pictures of Holly's cute girl Kailey (she was wearing super cute jeans, and i noticed the patch with the logo) and i went to the children's place...so worth it! they have such a selection, i now remember why i wish i could shop here for all the kids clothes! i think i am going to go back monday and get another pair.

yeah, it is really big, it measures 45" x 59"
this is a large receiving blanket, brown flannel with green serged edges...the green is light and almost doesn't stand out, until you see it next to white. it measures 1 1/4 yards square. i like this size, becuase you can use it for longer than 6 months. kathryn uses the one i made her and loves it.
the back side of the bumper pads, or they could be reversible, and green could be on the inside. either way, this is one side.

That looks great. I'll keep this in mind when we have our first baby. Wish I could've been there.
So cute! Awesome work Omi! I too procrastinate horribly...not just cuz I want to, but kids, other tasks, tired, etc...So i sooo understand where you are coming from. Somehow it always turns out just fine...I always critique it, but others love it. So from one "hard on myself" person to another...Appreciate yourself, your talents, and your abilities more...don't beat yourself up! I procrastinated making Shelby's grim reaper cloak outfit this year until the day it was needed for an Art club costume party...had gotten extremely sick, 102.8 fever, had worked the night before...had her wake me up at 12:30p, I crawled down the stairs and into the living room and measured her and cut it out free hand and sewed it in just under two hours...do not ask me how i did it...cuz i have no idea...i prayed the whole time "please, please let me finish this on time so my daughter won't hate me!" then threw myself and kids and her in the car and dropped her off at school by 3:05p...and went home and died! Absolutely crazy! The quilt, blanket and bumper pads are beautiful...sending you a loving, "wow" pat on the back!
