i've discovered i'm really bad about procrastinating. or i grossly underestimate the time it takes to accomplish something i've agreed to. and when what little time there is left comes to get busy, i realize i need more time! i hate this. so i convince myself that i really want to do whatever it is that i need to do, so i get it done.
this time it's quiet books for my sewing class in a week. i've never made one, but always wanted to, so i figure if i get a bunch of people interested, we can work together to keep each other going to FINISH. well, that wasn't my inital thought. i first thought i'm sure plenty mom's would love a quiet book. can't be that hard right?....
and then i had to have some kind of demo so i would know what to do differently "next" time. putting my ideas to reality, wow. it's a lot of work. die cut machines are amazingly AWESOME!!! and i'm looking at it from outsiders' point of view. i don't think i'd sign up for something like this...it's so time consuming. and only for kids to rough it up. well, hopefully i can finish enough pages to have something to show everyone on sunday, and the class turns out ok.
i'll post pictures whenever i'm done.
